Aimee Large coaching her team in Training Sessions

Here at The KittDependent we pride ourselves on only reporting on the most factual news we can. Because of this we had to verify a report that came in regarding current Manchester United Women’s Head Coach Aimee Large, and her conduct with her players. Well now, here at The KittDependent we can officially confirm; Aimee Large sends her players out to physically injure their opponents.

When I first received the reports on the 21st of September I genuinely thought someone was pranking our office. There was no way that a WSL Manager would be so careless as to be caught telling her players to, and I quote, “Take her out of the game” and “Snap her ankles”, and even when I heard the audio clips I fully believed they could have been faked or altered in some way. I even got quotes from famous The Sun informant Keith Beak, who “swears on the bible” that he personally heard her screaming at them to “TAKE HER OUT!!!“. There was truly nothing to verify the story. That was, until I received an email from a current player…

An Anonymous Man U W.F.C. Player has came out against her Coach

The Manchester United Women’s player, who wishes to remain Anonymous, has stated, “On the training field she has us practicing solely crunching tackles on dummy’s, telling us that we ‘Must gain an advantage over any team, no matter the cost’. Not even for the Dutch National Team have I had this intense a training regime, and most of it is ways to harm the opponent.” She then goes on to describe multiple training exercises, including hiding elbows against the opposition, ponytail yanking, and even Multi-Language Taunting classes. “I don’t dislike her”, added the anonymous midfielder, “I just want her to not get me banned from the sport for life,” she responded to my query about why she was willing to speak out about her current manager.

We confronted Aimee Large regarding the accusations in February on this year, and were met with initial denial until the topic of the whistle-blower was brought up. After some attempts to silence the story through… Less legal methods similar to her training…. We eventually agreed to not run the story if habits improved. And they did! Their card and injury record drastically improved after the talk, and they even went to the Champions League final, winning it 3-2 against Arsenal without any injuries caused or cards. I could not be prouder of this turn around for the club. So I decided to release the article anyway, not as a slight on Aimee, but instead to celebrate this new young manager looking inwards, and changing her ways and methods for the better. Congratulations to Aimee Large and Manchester United W.F.C., deserved Champions of Europe.
